Day by Day Mantra

Haven't posted in a while. Today I am working on dresses, aprons and hair bows for an upcoming event in the fall. While sorting through fabrics and organizing notions I was doing a little thinking. I have been committing myself to quite a few things lately and not following through, this does not make me feel good. In realizing this I decided to take a step back and really think about why? Now it isn't like I am busier than the average stay at home mom, in fact it may be the opposite, my kids are good kids they play and cooperate {for the most part} and give me time to do "me" so what is my problem? It is definitely not the idea {I sometimes think I have to many spinning around my head at one time} it is the execution. So how do I fix this? I am going to take some advise from one my favorite presidents Abraham Lincoln "I do the very best I know how, the very best I can, and I mean to keep on doing so until the end". This will be my new mantra.

  1. I think you do awesome and yes, your kids are amazing. I think you do way more than a lot of moms. You are an active person so you know you wont sit idle and focusing on one project gets boring! If i had your talent i would be the same. As it stands, i think of ideas but dont have the know how to do them!
