Meeting and Greeting at the Detailed Bridal Event

The past week was hectic!... but boy was it worth it! Sunday I attended the 2nd Annual Detailed Bridal Event at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Albany. The show was amazing, champagne, food samples {I mean the good stuff mini portions that looked fab!}, cake samples, reception ideas, hair, makeup and of course stationery! I met so many new faces. All of the coupleswere sweet to talk to, excited about being at the event and eager to plan their big day. Among some professional faces Stacy Jubert, www.thechildrensguide.com and April Rounds, www.detailsweddingplanning.com were extremely welcoming and should be proud they put on such a successful show! I also want to mention Katie O'Malley of Katie O Weddings & Events www.katieoevents.com, what a friendly face! Great time had by all! Thank you again Stacy + April!

The holidays are comin' to town..

The holidays are coming to town and Twinkle is making a list and checking it twice because we have A LOT of things a buzzing! Twinkle is up and running {finally, phew} with the letterpress!! Holiday designs are up on the site with plenty of ideas. Along with what's up on the site www.twinkledesignonline.com we can custom design and develop a holiday card unique to you and your family!

Twinkle will be in the 2nd Annual Detailed Bridal Event at the Crowne Plaza in Albany, December 6 12-3pm www.detailsweddingplanning.com I would love to see you there! I will have new designs and selling stationery, jewelry and homesewn goodies!!

In the spring Twinkle will launch letterpress stationery, custom wedding invitations {a hybrid of letterpress and print}, coasters, business cards and more. We are working toward all soy ink, recycled paper and getting even greener! Twinkle is streamlining the site and is planning to relaunch in January! Exciting stuff around here!

summertime fun!

Twinkle Design is gearing up for some summer fun! I look forward to introducing some fun new products at The Children's Guide Summer Games, July 21st at Afrim's 5-8pm www.thechildrensguide.com. Also Twinkle will be at the Tight Knit Craft and Art Event in Troy on the "Market Saturdays" August 15th and 29th. At both event Twinkle will be showcasing our new line of custom birth announcements and home sewn goodies! 

PS Twinkle is also newly offering letterpress invites, announcements and business cards!

waiting game

I am anxiously waiting for my letterpress and type which will be coming home in the next week or two! I can't wait to get started working with the machine! I bought it from an older gentleman, he used it for years and is now winding down in his work. I thanked him for contacting me (thank you briarpress.com for linking us) and really look forward to the work ahead! On saying thanks, I owe one to my supportive hubby and wonderful little boy, they both praise my work and help me dig deep. I am blessed to have them. Thanks boys!

Big news in Twinkle town!

Twinkle Design Studio's custom stationery and our homesewn Dabble are very pleased to be advertising in the Fall/Winter 2009 issue of Wellwed New York! Wellwed is a beautiful publication focusing on New York, The Hamptons, Vermont, The Cape, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. I love this publication because of the fresh approach and sophisticated design... Along with this fabulous news we have more! Twinkle's designs will be on Wedding Bell Invitation's web store offered as "printable" stationery! www.weddingbellinvitations.com Twinkle's Lovely and Sassy lines will be hitting their web store soon. It certainly is big news in Twinkle town!!

Yippee, Twinkle's designs will soon be up on Beeyond Paper www.beeyondpaper.com and in their soon to open stationery loft in Ada MI! I am thrilled and so excited about this wonderful new relationship, thank you Barb, I am so looking forward to working with you! ...More news, Twinkle is anxiously awaiting Smitten by Marg! a line of jewelry I mentioned a while back, we will be debuting the jewelry at the Desmond Wedding Tag sale April 5, 2009. Along with Smitten Twinkle will also be debuting Dabble, a line of homesewn products to compliment our stationery, look for Dabble's granny purse and ring barrer pillows and flower cones. After April 5 you will see Dabble and Smitten on the web site! Yippee, fun! ...Yet and note; because I am luckily surrounded by a group of creative and motivation friends, family and comrades I am thing of a Cooperative Create Boutique! Wouldn't that be fabulous?! Keep you hats on or be like Twinkle and keep changing it!
